Last Day of School!!!

Today, I finished my last final for the spring! Now I can enjoy summer and start doing some new crafts.  I actually started to learn to sew using a sewing machine.  My FMIL is letting me use her sewing machine to do some wedding crafts and to get comfortable with sewing. I made a small pillow out of two fat quarters of fabric. Here are some pictures before I stuffed it:

With one week left of class, I am sooo excited to start some wedding crafting!  I was able to complete some wedding projects but have to wait until everyone gets the cards to post about it.  So for now here are some wonderful pictures Eric and I took of our cats.  Above is Clint with stuffed animals on him, he stayed like this for an hour.

Quick Post: Gift for Co-Worker

Hi! I have been soo busy with school work that I haven't had time to craft lately.  Taking 3 higher level math classes doesn't leave me much time to craft.  But I had a co-worker who was leaving for a new job and I wanted to make her a little gift.  I made her this card, using one of Wanda's Cards.
 

I also made her a couple of etched champagne glasses with her last name initial in it. It was kinda of hard to get a good picture.

I also made two boxes for the glasses but forgot to take pictures before I gave it to her.

Here are the files for the boxes.  It is big enough to hold a 19inch tall champagne glass.
** You need to cut the box side twice to complete the box***

Please let me know if there are any issues that I need to fix with the box.   I might try and make one and take a picture to show you how it looks.

A Knome and some cards!

Eric finally painted the knome I had bought him last year for the garden. While he did that, I took a break from some math homework and made some mother's day cards for my mom, his mom and his aunt.
I used the cut files from Wanda's Craft.  I love all her card cut files!!

I made my mom a nice black card with some cut out floral swirls.

For his mom, I knew she liked hibiscus so I make her this:

And for his aunt, I make this one:

One the inside of each, we wrote a little message and included this:

I used Amy's embossing tool and love how it turned out. Sorry about the pictures, I don't know why they are out of focus.   They all loved the cards!

With "The Last Air-bender" coming out soon, I wanted to try and play with some of the coloring pages I found.  Here is the first file I converted.  I haven't cut it yet.   But the files are below for your personal use!  Please let me know if they cut okay!
